The Healing Hands Center is in Maharajgunj, northeast Kathmandu and 5 kilometers from Tribhuvan International Airport. It is located opposite the headquarters of the US Save the Children, which is marked on most maps of Kathmandu. The taxi fare from the airport is around 300 NPR and the route is as follows: from the airport head for the Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj. Then turn left if you are approaching from the Ring Road, or right after the Kathmandu Hotel if approaching from town, and follow the road leading to the Russian Embassy. About 150 meters after you turn left, and 250 meters before reaching the Russian Embassy, on your right you will see a house with Tibetan prayer flags. The gate is black.
